I have the time capsule currently plugged into the back of my mac with an ethernet cable, and I turned the wireless off, but time machine doesn't recognize the time capsule - no doubt because it's looking for the wireless signal and I don't know the next steps about how to configure the time capsule to just work over ethernet.
